Kill Odor Plus developed by Dan Savanuck in the early 90’s exhibits excellent urine odor neutralization properties and has been used for years in the health care industry to address the problem of incontinence odors in health care.

Kill Odor Plus is a unique blend of solvents, anionic surfactants and proprietary fragrances that stops urine odors at the source. The solvent-surfactant package used quickly penetrates urine salts and emulsifies oils producing an excellent clean without harming carpet fiber or voiding carpet manufacturer warranties.

How it works.

Kill Odor Plus is a unique combination of solvents, anionic surfactants and a proprietary fragrance that quickly penetrates urine salts and emulsifies oils producing an excellent clean without harming carpet fiber or voiding carpet manufacturer warranties.

The anionic surfactants in Kill Odor Plus rapidly reduce the surface tension of carpet fiber and hard surface floor coverings, tying up and suspending the oily soils released by the solvents allowing the fragrance to contact the source of the urine odor problem quickly and neutralize it. The solvents quickly emulsify all oily soils typically found in traffic lanes and suspends them for easy removal from the floor covering when the rinse step is added.

To receive the Seal of Approval for spotting and pre-spray from the Carpet and Rug Institute a product must successfully remove mustard, catsup, coffee, grape juice, black marker, chocolate syrup, dirty motor oil and soil. In addition the product can not contribute to re-soiling, change the color light fastness, have a pH no less than 4 nor be greater than pH 10 and can not contain optical brighteners. Kill Odor Plus has received the CRI Seal of Approval as a spotter / pre-spray product.

Kill Odor Plus is an excellent interim maintenance ‘encapsulation’ cleaner especially where organic odor problems are a problem.
